The first May is near,
A hope becomes fact,
My heart will grow younger,
My dreams will flourish.

For what follows,
You must enjoy fully,
For, some world's children will have,
Food, schools and pretty houses.

For many years, I esteemed you,
Because you have been fair,
And you devoted yours time for:
Poor, sick, famished, and thirsty people;

For children, beggars, abused,
Libeled, but all honest people.
I understood your worries,
And fights for your people.

Soon, if there will not be time
For greetings or hugs,
I want:that the world's kids shall know,
That I never will leave them.
